Place your bone next to the other bone so that the same numbers are touching and then that will leave on end of the bone exposed for someone else to play on. These open ends are the only legal moves you can make.

Sometimes new branches do sprout from the old but generally they continue in the same manner and pattern until the end of the game.

One object of the game is to get rid of all the tiles in your hand. There may also be ways of scoring or turning the game in to some kind of gambling game as well.

In draw games a player would only draw a certain amount at the beginning of the game and then if he needs a piece because he cannot play during the game, then he continues to draw until he finds the piece to play.
