Life Experience:
As a child I was not the normal little girl, I was fascinated by any game that excluded dolls and afternoon tea parties, I played in the dirt and followed my mother everywhere.
Games were always a focal point in my life, including card games and active games like Freeze Tag, and Hide and Seek. I learned to play many card games early in my life at the daycare center with the other kids and remember fondly playing War until we had to go home.
Then I went to summer camp, and I started playing poker and black jack with different kids from all over country. I was new at these games, but I learned quickly with my affinity for cards and started to play in the penny or nickel games.
After learning and playing all the time, I made a little money, real little, but rarely lost. And as time wore on, I started playing more and more, but I got older and the priorities in my life were studies and learning. So I gave up gambling to focus on school.
In to my third year I was desperate for money and had heard about a few poker rooms in the college town where I was studying. Not gambling all that often I won enough to support myself and live while paying for school.
I began to win a lot and shortly thereafter I dropped out of school and began gambling full time. I played for roughly 7 years straight traveling around the world playing in various cities, trying to keep myself low key and not noticed. I would win a bit and then move on, never enough to catch anyones eye.
Now I have finished school and work as a social worker, helping the homeless and less fortunate find jobs and homes and things of this nature. Gambling is more of a second job, mostly for fun but also to travel with. You really do not make so much on a social workers salary. Also because I enjoy helping people so much, I have decided to express my ideas and thoughts through the internet to the public as well.
