The largest slot machine jackpot in history was hit on November 10th 2006, by a man visiting Las Vegas for an NCAA basketball game.

A 25 year old software designer from the Las Angeles area hit the jackpot of 38.7 million dollars after putting three one dollar coins into the slot machine. His name was not realest for publication upon his request, a spokesman for the slot machines manufacturer Game Technology gave their congratulations to the man.
