A Gambling Friendly Congress

The fight for lOnline Gambling won a major victory as Gambling Friendly Congressmen take over

According to the American Gaming Association President and former RNC chairman when The New Congress starts it New Year in January a committee will be formed to study the feasibility of regulating legalized Online Gambling in the USA.

Because of the Congressional Elections that were held in November, the gambling industry finds itself with many more friends on both sides of the aisle.

It is obvious to those at the American Gaming Association that the Unlawful Internet Gambling Act signed into law by President George Bush on October 13th had a big impact on this election. "We can see how senators and congressmen who pushed and voted for the online gambling ban were voted out and those against criminalizing online gambling were voted into Congress" said the AGA president.

One of the biggest problems legalized gambling has had over the years is getting congressional leaders to understand how the gambling industry works. Now with more gambling industry knowledgeable leaders in congress it should make it easier to help make gambling, both casino and online legal in more places across the USA.

According to the AGA president "the fight for online gambling just won a major victory but the fight is still not over yet".
