Gambling Tycoons Dream about Casino in Massachusetts.
Many proposals to build casinos in Massachusetts were rejected over the years but now there are better chances to allow slot machines in local racetracks.

A proposal to allow slot machines in Massachusetts racetracks have good chances to be approved. The State House lawmakers rejected many casino proposals in Massachusetts over the years.

Massachusetts has been the top destination for gambling tycoons. Gary Loveman of Harrahs Entertainment said that building a casino in Massachusetts was his top goal. Donald Trump was also interested in Massachusetts as a potential casino site, but eventually decided on Johnston, R.I., not far from the Massachusetts border. Loveman is trying to get an approval for his plan to build a casino for the Narragansett tribe in Rhode Island. The owner of Venetian Casino in Las Vegas, Sheldon Adelson applied for a 1.5 billion dollars casino hotel in Boston a few years ago. His approval was rejected at a State House hearing. Sheldon is now working on a huge casino complex in Asia.

It seems that Massachusetts is even more popular than Las Vegas strip when it comes down to super casino plans. Massachusetts over billion dollars lottery is one of the causes to the area appeal in the eyes of gambling tycoons.
