The 41st Annual Academy Awards of Country Music will be held at MGM Grand Las Vegas with about 4,000 guests.

The 41st Annual Academy Awards of Country Music will be held at MGM Grand Las Vegas on May 23, 2006. The ceremony will be broadcast live on the CBS Television Network at 8 pm.

It is the fourth year the Academy of Country Music Awards is held in Las Vegas. This is the first time the ceremony takes place at MGM Grand Las Vegas. According to Bob Romeo, Executive Director of the Academy of Country Music, the decision to hold the ceremony at the MGM Grand is a result of the huge popularity of the show in Vegas. About 4,000 country fans and country music industry members are expected to take part The 41st Annual Academy Awards of Country Music

The Academy of Country Music was established in 1964 in order to support and promote the country music industry around the world. The Academy award ceremony is executive produced by Dick Clark and R.A. Clark and produced by Barry Adelman.
