Even though online gambling is now outlawed in the USA many people are still managing to place bets online, and what are they betting on.

The big game in town seems to be who will win next weeks election to control Congress. As it stand right now the smart money is on the Democrats to take the House and the Senate can go either way.

According to President Bush some of the Democrats are all ready measuring there new offices for curtains.

According to a Dublin based company the democrats have better then a 69% chance of taking the House and a 24 % chance of winning both the House and the Senate, but these numbers are based on the bets that have been placed so far and not actually polling statistics.

One privately owned sportsbook put the odds of the republicans keeping the house were 3 to 1 against them.

It looks like the Republicans have again misread the situation. It seems that this online gambling ban is losing them the votes they thought the new law would bring to them.

This just seems to be another example of how the current republican government does not seem to be in touch with the actual people they are supposed to be governing.
