Harrahs Entertainment revealed the oversight behind the planned casino resort project in Singapore. The project will be produced by Hollywood director James Cameron, who will provide ideas based on his films. The project will include a 1 million square foot theme park that called iPort.

Harrahs is one of the casino companies to bid for a casino resort in Singapore, after Singapore government removed its ban on casino gambling last year. Singapore would give a casino license at Marina Bay and on Sentosa Island.

MGM Mirage had also applied for a casino resort in Singapore. Wynn Resorts are scheduled to open a new casino in Macau by September. Las Vegas Sands had already opened a casino in Macau in May 2004.
