Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa plans to build a 325 million dollars hotel tower called the Water Club.
Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa announced on Tuesday its plans to build an additional hotel tower. The hotel will contain 800 rooms with estimated cost of 325 million dollars and it expected to be open by the end of 2007.
The building of the Water Club at Borgata will start next year. The 43 story glass hotel will include four pools, two story spa, six retail shops and 18,000 square feet lobby.
According to Larry Mullin, Borgatas president and chief operating officer, the additional hotel would be an answer for growing demand for rooms. He said that even during the slow months the hotel occupancy is almost full.
Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa was one of the most profitable casinos is Atlantic City since its opening in July 2003. It features table games, coinless slot machines and luxurious restaurants.
