The construction work on Ameristar Casino St. Charles riverfront new casino hotel had begun. The new 25-story hotel will include 400 all-suite hotel rooms designed in a turn-of-the-century-style and a 55,000 square-foot Conference and Meeting Center. It is one of the most luxurious projects located on the St. Charles riverfront.
The cost of the construction is estimated as about 240 million dollars. The conference and meeting centre is scheduled to be ready by the second quarter of 2006, while the hotel is planned to be ready by the end of 2007.
Ameristar Casino has hired the California office of Wimberly, Allison, Tong and Goo to plan the interior design for the project and the Kansas City office of the St. Louis-based Peckham Guyton Albers and Viets are the architects of the project.
Ameristar Casino St. Charles is subsidiary of Ameristar Casinos that provides entertaining and gaming to entire metropolitan St. Louis area. It was formed in 1994 and was the first gaming facility in Missouri.
