Oneida Indian Nations Turning Stone Resort and Casino will be hosting the seventh billiard tournament in mid August. The Turning Stone Classic VII 9 Ball Tournament will feature some of the top billiard players in the world including Jeanette Lee. The event is open to the public.

The Turning Stone Classic VII Open 9 Ball Tournament is expected to draw over 120 billiard players who will be competing for four days on the championship title and the 40,000 dollars prize. The first event is scheduled to Thursday, Aug. 17 on 3 pm at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino. The tournament final event will be held on Sunday, Aug. 20, 2006 at 10 am.

Jeanette Lee is probably the most famous pool player in the world. She had won the Gold Medal for the United States in the 2001 Akita World Games and the champion of the 2003 Tournament of Champions. Shawn Putnam, who won the 2005 Professional Players Championship will also appear at the Turning Stone Tournament.
