While awaiting trial on a separate case Fouchoy Saephan 28 was arrested for endangering the lives of his 2 kids ages 2 years and 10 months, after he leaves them in a locket car covered in blankets with the windows up for more then an hour.

The 28 year old from Laos was arraigned on Friday morning. The man pleaded not guilty to the charges and is now being held on $100,000 bail.

The arraignment was help up for several days until the county could get an interpreter who could properly explain the charges to the man. On Friday they finally got someone who could translate properly and the arraignment was held.

The man is accused of leaving a 10 month old and a 2 year old in a parked car at the Chuckchansi Resort and Casino while he was inside the casino gambling.

While he was inside the casino the 2 kids nearly died from dehydration and if not for the luck of a security guard noticing the 2 kids crying in their car and calling for an ambulance the 2 would surly be dead.

The Madera County District Attorney said that they are going to go over the case slowly and meticulously to make sure they have a tight case against the father and the mother who was also arrested in the casino and although she is pregnant was found in possession of methamphetamine.

The mother is wanted in another state for theft charges and the father is awaiting trial on charges of attempting to steal copper wire.
