A 32 years old pharmacy manager would be the first woman poker player to be sent from poker.com to the World Series of Poker main event. Sheila Chandler, of Jacksonville, Florida, known as MsRounders started her poker career as a player in low limit online poker tournaments.
According to Paul Cherry, Poker.com Tournament Director, the number of women who participate in the online tournaments grew recently. He believes they will send more women to the WSOP main event in the near future.
MsRounders has been playing poker for the last 6 years, mainly on occasional trips to Las Vegas card rooms. She was introduced to online poker about two years ago. Since then she started participating in low buy tournaments. She got to the WSOP main event after winning a one dollars qualifier tournament.
