Will Online Casinos Gain A Legal Come Back

A bill is currently being worked on that will reverse the ban on online gambling.

Barney Franks is working hard to have a bill which legalizes gambling to be up and running in the amendment, he is working very closely with the Government to lift the prohibition on Internet casino gambling in states.

The ban was accomplished for 2 reasons, one being to safeguard land casinos from losses they might suffer due to competition from online casinos and the other being the addictive behavior of online gamblers, which can lead to individual ruin due to high risks involved.

Many of the online casinos were blocked out by majority of US states and the IP log ins from specific states in the US were banned from being able to play real money games in online casinos. The same was happening with sports betting; however, there were several sites which had their business registered in some offshore countries, which permit gambling, thus permitting US players to play for real money at their own risk.

Frank is working hard to revoke the UIGEA bill which limits US online casino operations, he strongly works on his purpose, where he claims the legalization will regularize tax income to the state.

Cryptologic and Microgaming are two major pioneers in game development software, and notably Microgaming left the US a couple of years ago; however, there are a number of players in the US who prefer the Microgaming platforms. It might be a come back for such companies in events where the US will legalize and regulate online casinos, it is questionable whether the Obama government will show any such proceeds in the current trend.
