A nineteen year old male was attacked by four teens while he was on his way home from a city center casino in Edinburgh. The police are currently looking for the attackers.
 
While walking down Silverknowes Road just before 23:00 the nineteen year old suddenly became aware he was being followed by several people.

One of the teens tried to start a conversation with the nineteen year old but he ignored them and continued on his way.

The nineteen year old attempted to cross the street to get away from the teens by running across the street and an oncoming car had to swerve to avoid hitting him, but the youths continued to give chase. Eventually the teens caught up with him near Main Street at Davidson's Mains.

One of the teens pulled out a screwdriver and threatened to stab him if he did not hand over his money.

Fearing for his life he handed over the money and received a punch in the face in return, before the youths ran away with his money.

The teens consisted on 3 males and 1 female between the ages of 15 and 17 years old

A description of the teen with the screwdriver was thin and between 5ft 2ins and 5ft 4ins. The other attackers were all described as being between 5ft 4ins and 5ft 6ins and average build.

Local police said that they would like to talk to anyone who may have information on the identifications of the teens.
