According to the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board even with all the security cameras and guards around the casino the girl managed to go unnoticed by anyone for over an hour.
Children may like the lights and bells of the casino, but it is no place for a young child.
A Casino official said that the 14 year old girl managed to get passed security guards, play the slot machines, talk to a cashier and she even cashed out before finally being spotted by the casino.
The casino was given a $20,000 fine for the offence.
A spokesperson for the gaming control board said" This is something that, to us, says the casino needs to do a better job, needs to be carding, looking out for these individuals. And, when that doesn't happen, we have to take an action "during a phone interview on Tuesday with local news.
The casino has said it will hire more security guards and all casino security staff will be re-trained to prevent this from happening again.
Security cameras recorded the young child several times, unfortunately no one noticed. According to the cameras the girl was on the casino floor for an hour and ten minutes, before finally being spotted by a casino security guard.
