Learn to Play Animals

The game is quite simple to play and only takes a few minutes to learn. The game can be played for fun as a drinking game or for money, we played for money.

The first thing you need for animals is at least 4 players, at least 2 decks of cards and a table. Each player must pick a different animal and going around the table announce the animal they are choosing to represent them, a sound the animal makes and a gesture for the animal. An example of this would be if I was a bear I would make a growling noise and a swiping motion with my hand.

During the game you do not need to remember your Animal, but you must remember everyone else's. The dealer will place a card in front of each player. The dealer never stops dealing until all the cards are gone. If you and another player have the same card on top of your piles the first one to make the other persons gesture and sound gets to take the other persons pile of cards. The object of the game is to have the most cards at the end.

This game was probably started as a drinking game, but we played it for money. The way to play for money is simple every player puts in $5 dollars and the winner gets the pot.

This is not a game you are likely to see in casinos, but it is a fun way to gamble and the game really is lots of fun to play. Watching everyone making these animal noises and gestures is exceptionally funny.
