Is the Opie Sports Curse Spreading like a Virus?

Until recently Opie from the Opie and Anthony Radio Show could not pick a winning sports team to save his life. Then to the dismay of all Boston fans Opie decided to back the Red Sox in the World Series and the Opie Sports curse demons must have been asleep and Boston won their 2nd world series in the last 84 yeas the fist being just 3 years ago in the 2004 season.

Some people were fast to say the sports curse was over until Opie tried to pick football winners. After picking several weeks of losers, Opie decided to ask his brother Bret to pick his teams for him. Opie also had predicted a win in hockey last week when his favorite team the NY Islanders beat the NJ Devils by a score of 1 %u2013 0.

Last year when Opie was loosing the football pool he asked his brother to make his weekly picks for him and his brother won the last 5 weeks in a row to move Opie from last place to tied for first place, and won him $5,000 of a $10,000 prize.

But ever since Opie's win his brother has not been able to pick any winners and speculations are wondering if Opie's sports curse has spread to his brother. Is it possible that a curse can be spread like a virus and that once you break a curse you pass it on to someone else?

Maybe this is what they mean by spreading the virus.
