Craps is a most exciting casino game. At the craps table it is common to hear shouting and yelling as the game is played. The game is played on a special craps table and two dice. To insure against cheating, the dice are made to exact standards and changed several times throughout the day. There are specially implemented rules on how to handle the dice in the casino

1. The player throwing the dice may only use one hand and the dice must bounce off specially designed walls on the other side of the craps table. If one or both of the dice are thrown off the table, the dice will be inspected. If there is damage to the die or dice, they shall be replaced. And then gambling will continue.



2. There can be anywhere from 1 to around 20 people betting on one craps game. One player throws the dice, or "shoots", while the other players bet on or against the "shooter". The players take turns as the shooter, passing the dice once their "throws" have lost. The dice pass on to the next player, and he will shoot until he loses. And so on and so forth around the craps table.



3. When a new shooter throws the dice the first time, this is called the Come Out roll. If he rolls 7 or 11, he wins. If the toss is a 2, 3, or 12, it is a losing throw on the Come Out. If a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10, then he receives a point and then he continues to roll. A player can continue to throw this way without losing so long as he doesn't throw a 7 or 11, or makes his point.



4. If a player does make his point, then the dice are returned to him and he makes a new Come Out roll. He is not a new shooter, so this does and does not signify the start of a new game. If the player rolls a craps, 7, or doesn't make his point, the dice are passed to the left hand side to the next gambler and the game continues with the new player making the Come Out roll.



5. The craps table is a layout divided into three sections. Two areas on both sides are identical, which are separated by the middle area. The two identical areas are called the Field bets, and the middle shared area is the Proposition bets.



6. The Field bets contain, the points, the Pass and Don't Pass, Come and Don't Come. Odds bet, Place bets and Field bets. The Pass bets will win if the come out roll is 7 or 11; while pass bets lose if it is 2, 3, or 12. Likewise the Don't bet will lose when the roll is 7 or 11, and win when the come out roll is 2 or 3.
